ACSI stands for Auto Camper Service International, a Dutch company founded in 1965. Its aim is to bring together in one place the largest range of campsites and information on campsites throughout Europe, where we can benefit from discounts if we visit them in the low season.
Currently, it offers more than 3,000 campsites in 21 European countries. These campsites are checked annually by ACSI inspectors for about 200 different characteristics to ensure that they continue to meet the necessary requirements to be part of this platform.
This makes it a benchmark in the sector and a source of reliability that campers appreciate.
All these camp sites can be found in the ACSI Guide, with all the information about them: name, address, telephone numbers, email address, services available, photographs, location map, description of the facilities and a brief indication of how to get there, among other things... and of course, the most interesting thing, during which dates we can make use of our discount and what price we will pay for being ACSI card holders.
The biggest advantage of owning this card is that, if you are one of those who like to travel in low season, you can benefit from very competitive prices and save a lot of money (up to 60% discount in spring and autumn). In addition, we have gathered in one place all the campsites in Spain and the rest of Europe.
HOW TO USE IT?
The card is included in the guide itself, and this is how to use it:
Fill in the back of the CampingCard ACSI discount card completely, as only fully completed cards will be accepted by the camp sites.
When you arrive at the camp site you show the card (valid for 2 adults). It is important that you inform the campsite that you have an ACSI Card when you make your reservation. It is possible that we do not book in advance and stop at a campsite on the way to our destination. In this case, when you arrive at the reception, you must inform them that you have an ACSI Card.
We will then pay the discounted rate. This is subject to the campsite's own regulations. In some campsites we will pay on arrival, in others we will be able to pay on departure.
These discounted rates are €12, €14, €16, €18, €20 or €22, depending on the campsite we visit. These prices include the following:
ACSI CAMPSITE.
Only in campsites that have this logo, we will be entitled to a discount, and always in the periods stipulated by the campsite.
Although, as we have already mentioned, 200 points are checked, the important points that a campsite must comply with are:
