Summer on the Coast! Your Perfect Motorhome Route on the Costa Brava
Hello, adventurer on wheels!
Summer is here, the sun is shining and the desire to take a dip is unstoppable. And what better way to enjoy it than with your home in tow, exploring the most spectacular corners of our geography? This month, we propose a dream route through one of the most coveted destinations: the Costa Brava. Get ready for postcard-perfect landscapes, hidden coves and charming villages that will steal your heart. Let's get started!

First Stops: Hidden Coves and Pure Beauty
Our adventure begins in the heart of the Costa Brava, where the turquoise blue of the Mediterranean meets the green of the pine forest.
- Tossa de Mar: You can't miss this medieval jewel. Its Vila Vella, the only fortified and well-preserved medieval town on the Catalan coast, is a must-see. Park in the car park for motorhomes (near the centre) and get lost in its narrow cobbled streets. Afterwards, a swim in the Platja Gran, with the city walls in the background, is a privilege!

- Palamós and Calella de Palafrugell: We continue north. Palamós is famous for its prawns, so a stop to taste them is a must! Close by is Calella de Palafrugell, an old fishing village with whitewashed houses and an idyllic atmosphere. Here, the Camino de Ronda will take you past cliffs and beautiful coves. Look for coves such as El Golfet or Port Pelegrí for a dip.

Rest and Recharge: Charming Campsites and Motorhome Areas
We know how important it is to have a good place to rest and recharge your batteries. The Costa Brava is very well prepared for itinerant tourism.
- Camping Cala Llevadó (Tossa de Mar): It is a classic due to its privileged location and sea views. It offers plots with all services and direct access to several coves, ideal for families!
- Área de autocaravanas de Pals: If you prefer something quieter and more functional, the Pals area is an excellent choice. It is well connected and allows you to explore the beautiful medieval village of Pals, with its cobbled streets and keep. From here, you can easily access long beaches such as Platja de Pals.
A Little Culture and Nature: Beyond the Beach
The Costa Brava is not just beaches; it also has an incredible cultural and natural wealth.
- Cadaqués and Cap de Creus: Get your camera ready because this is a magical place. Cadaqués, with its white houses and bohemian atmosphere, captivated Salvador Dalí. Visit his House-Museum in Portlligat. Afterwards, go into the Cap de Creus Natural Park, A lunar landscape of rocks and wind sculpted by the tramuntana. The views from the lighthouse are impressive at sunset. Please note: in high season, access to Cap de Creus may be restricted for large vehicles, so check beforehand.
- Las Islas Medes (L'Estartit): If you love snorkelling or scuba diving, you can't miss an excursion to the Medes Islands, one of the most important marine reserves in the Mediterranean. Glass-bottomed boats and diving excursions for all levels leave from L'Estartit and the seabed is amazing!

An Important Note: Travel with Respect
Travelling in a motorhome or campervan gives us incredible freedom, but also great responsibility. We ask you, please, to be a responsible camper:
- Waste Management: Always use the grey and black water drainage points and dispose of your waste in the appropriate containers - never leave a trace!
- Respect for the Environment: Do not camp or stay overnight in unauthorised places. Respect the local flora and fauna, and be aware of the noise you may generate.
The Costa Brava is a treasure that we must all take care of together.
